Nondestructive Testing (NDT)

Eddy Current Testing (ET)

Eddy Current Testing (ET) uses electromagnetic induction to find flaws like cracks and corrosion in conductive materials — primarily metals — without any surface preparation like dye or particles.

ET is ideal for fast, portable, on-site inspection of aircraft skins, fasteners, and landing gear components, and it can detect subsurface flaws that visual inspection would miss, without disassembly.

Because equipment is lightweight and results are immediate, ET is a preferred method for field inspections and quick-turn maintenance events.

What's Included

  • Surface and near-surface crack detection in conductive metals
  • Fastener hole and bolt-hole inspection
  • Coating-thickness and conductivity measurement
  • Portable, on-site deployment with minimal part prep

Who It's For

MRO repair stations and operators needing fast, portable inspection of aircraft skins, fasteners, and landing gear components on-site.
