How a Nadcap NDT Audit Works
Nadcap is administered by the Performance Review Institute (PRI). An industry-approved auditor audits your facility against standard checklists: AC7114 for the NDT system, plus a checklist for each method in your scope.
Findings are written as non-conformance reports (NCRs) that you answer with root cause and corrective action. PRI then presents the audit to an NDT Task Group of industry members, who review it and vote on accreditation.

Who administers Nadcap?
The Performance Review Institute (PRI). Audits use industry-agreed checklists, and industry Task Groups review each audit before accreditation is granted.
Does Nadcap apply outside aerospace?
No. Nadcap applies to the aerospace sector's supply chain. For other industries, our Quality Assurance services cover ISO 9001 and ISO 3834.
What is AC7114?
AC7114 is the Nadcap audit checklist for nondestructive testing. Every NDT audit covers it, along with a separate checklist for each NDT method in your scope.
Is Lion NDT Nadcap-accredited?
